Rheged art exhibition
A Through The Locking Glass art exhibition is being held at the Rheged Centre near Penrith (just off Junction 40 of the M6 heading west on the A66) from 25 June to 5 September.
The exhibition is based around artworks by the contributing Cumbrian artists to the Through The Locking Glass book (still available from inspiredbylakeland and bookshops). My framed photographs in the exhibition are based on the hope to be found in nature during the dark days of lockdown - in my case discovering jewels and treasure in rock pools on the Solway coast. But as well as the framed artworks in the exhibition, there are also unframed mounted prints and greetings cards on display and for sale. Well worth a visit if you are in the area over the summer.
